Question: How does one tell the difference between withdrawal symptoms, that go with recovery from Cushing's, versus the more dangerous situation of not having enough cortisol?

Answer: The withdrawal syndrome that suggests cure after surgery is not associated with changes of the vital signs, such as a decrease in blood pressure, that signify danger. Careful monitoring of the patient is paramount during this period.
