I was diagnosed with Cushing's and had a pituitary tumor (4 mm) removed by transsphenoidal surgery in November of 1993. I was again diagnosed with Cushing's and have had this pituitary tumor (3 mm) since August of 1997. Because of indefinite "clinical" testing, treatment was delayed. Over the past year I have had two stress fractures in my left foot, one in my right foot, and numerous other problems including diabetes.

My second surgery was January 28, 1999. The tumor and part of the pituitary gland was removed successfully. I'm having some post op problems and would love to talk with others who have been through a recurrence and 2 surgeries. Any information anyone can give me on managing after surgery would be greatly appreciated.
