I have a brand new granddaughter and plan to fight this disease so I can spend time with her!! I have had Cushing's for over 20 years. A masectomy was performed in 1975 including chemotherapy for two years following. I believe the main reason I wasn't diagnosed earlier is because I never saw any other doctor during the past 20 years. I started with the series of tests in August of 1996 and was recently sent to Portland, Oregon for the PSS test since it was not available in this area (according to my doctor). The PSS ruled out the pitutitary and I am back to square one! It seems like a long time to be "testing" and I go back this week for the next move! I am so tired of being sick and just want to get "fixed"!! I will keep you posted on my progress....I can't wait to start the first day of the rest of my life!!!
