I have been extremely active with the Pituitary Tumor National Association when I found out about CSRF on the Internet. I am 35 years old and have two children ages 7 and 11, and a very supportive and caring husband. I, too, had requested many times to be tested and finally had the blood work necessary for the diagnosis of Cushing's. My surgery was in March and I am recovering in spite of severe sinus infections and colds. I have more energy each day and pushed myself to be a major part of my garage sale last week!! I am taking 25 mg of hydrocortisone and question if this is really enough. I'm taking 10/10/5 (morning, noon, and night). I am interested in talking to anyone in my area and would like to know how many milligrams different people are comfortable with.
