In January of 1995 I had transphenoidal surgery to remove a pituitary tumor. This was followed by 28 days of radiation. My ACTH levels are still high, and I am taking Nizoral (ketoconazole) to control my cortisol levels. I am still very Cushingoid and am considering a bilateral adrenalectomy. I have been told that it can take two years or more for the radiation to work, but the waiting is so hard. I would love to speak with others who are in a similar situation or have had to make this kind of a decision. My husband and I would also like to have a baby, and I would love to hear from others who have had children after having had Cushing's.
