I had one adrenal gland removed in March of 1999 due to a tumor that was causing my Cushing's. Since then, I have been on 7 mg of prednisone and my doctors have not even discussed tapering my replacement medication yet. My blood pressure is down some and my face is a little better, but outside of that I have seen very little improvement of symptoms, i.e. weight loss, fatigue and muscle weakness. I would really like to hear from others who have had an adrenal gland removed and been through the tapering process. I work a 40 hr. week and much of the time I don't feel well, so email is the best way to reach me. Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can give me.
