I am 64 years old and had an adrenal tumor removed in November of ‘04. I am having a hard time with coritsol withdrawal. I was being tapered off with prednisone up to 7.5 mg/day, then it was changed to Cortef-20mg AM and 10mg PM because I was having problems sleeping for over 6 months! I also have severe muscle and joint pains that makes sleeping and exercising very difficult. The fatigue and depression are also difficult to deal with. A friend gave me some information from the internet. I don’t have an email and would very much like to be in touch with others who have been through this, particularly anyone who lives around Long Island, NY. Please contact me; I’d love to talk!
